The Ghana Association of Banks (GAB) and the West African Bankers’ Association (WABA) are pleased to announce the successful completion of the international program, “Navigating Open Banking and Payments Systems in a Disruptive Era,” held in Accra from June 24- 29, 2024.
The program aimed to equip banking professionals and stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the rapidly evolving financial landscape driven by open banking and innovative payment systems. The event featured interactive sessions, case studies, and discussions led by industry experts.
The highlight of the event was the keynote address delivered by Dr. Maxwell Opoku-Afari, the First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, during the opening session. His insightful speech set the tone for a productive and engaging dialogue, emphasizing the importance of innovation and collaboration in the banking sector.
