Mr. Victor Yaw Asante’s career commenced over two and half decades ago (in 1996) as Sales and Marketing Professional with Unilever Ghana, Limited. After two years at the organisation, Victor joined Merchant Bank, now Universal Merchant Bank where he worked in the Marketing, Sales, Corporate Relations and Public Relations functions.
Victor is currently the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of FBN Bank Ghana; subsidiary of Nigeria’s oldest Bank, First Bank. Prior to his appointment as MD of FBN, Victor was the Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking; with oversight responsibility for Commercial Banking Business at First National Bank Ghana; subsidiary of the First Rand Group of South Africa.
